8. Use of personal data
Personal data is never given to a third party unless you have expressly agreed to this, and we never collect personal data without you having provided us with this information upon registration, purchase or participation in a survey or similar. Here, information is collected such as name, address, postcode, email, gender, age, interests, opinions and knowledge about different subjects.

Personal data is used to complete the service which the data has been collected in connection with. The data is also used to gain more knowledge of you and other users at www.vision4kids.com. This use can include surveys and analysis directed towards improving our products, services and technologies, together with the display of content and adverts that match your interests and hobbies.

If the data we have registered is incorrect, or if you have other objections, you can direct your enquiry to the same place. You have the opportunity to object about the data that is registered about you and you can object to a registration in accordance with the rules in the GDPR.

8.2 Protection of personal data
According to the GDPR, your personal information must be kept confidential and secure. We save your personal data on computers with restricted access, which are placed in controlled facilities, and our security measures are checked regularly to determine whether our user data is being processed properly and still in consideration for your rights as a user. We cannot however guarantee 100% security in data transfer via the internet. This means that there may be a risk that other parties unjustifiably gain access to your information when data is sent and stored electronically. You therefore provide your personal data at your own risk.

Personal data is deleted or anonymised regularly once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for. Personal data is saved for a maximum of 12 months after use.

The rapid development of the internet means that changes to our processing of personal data may be necessary. We thus reserve the right to update and change our current guidelines for the processing of personal data. If we do this, we will naturally correct the data for ‘last updated’ at the bottom of the page. In case of substantial changes, we will notify you of this in the form of a visible message on www.vision4kids.com.

To the extent that personal data is processed about you, you have the right, in accordance with the GDPR, to be informed what personal data can be attributed to you. Should it prove that the information or data that is processed on you is incorrect or misleading, you have the right to demand these are corrected, deleted or blocked. You can object at any time to information about yourself being the subject of processing. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. You have the opportunity to appeal about the processing of information and data concerning you. Appeals shall be submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency, see Section 58 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

9. How long are cookies stored for?
Cookies delete themselves after a certain amount of months (number of months may vary), but they are renewed after each visit.
