NOTE: Eye patches with elastic are the least preferable coverage of an eye in relation to vision training as there is a risk that it will not sit close enough to the eye or that the child fiddles with it so that light can enter from the side. In certain situations, however it can be the only alternative to eye plasters, for example. Talk to your ophthalmologist/orthoptist before choosing this type of coverage.
