50 adhesive eye patches in optional colours. The adhesive eye patches are available in eight different colours and are packed into packages containing 10 pcs. per package.
Everyday life wearing an adhesive eye patch can be made easier if your child is given a little reward for being good at wearing their eye patch.
Skin-friendly
They are latex-free and hypoallergenic, making them completely skin-friendly. This minimises the risk of allergic reactions.
Materials
V4K adhesive eye patches are made using breathable materials. In the central interior of the eye patch is a non-adhesive black area. This helps to prevent light from penetrating and minimizes the possibility of your child being able to see out. The eye patches have two small slits on the nose, which ensure that the eye patch sits comfortably on the bridge of the nose.
The eye patches are available in different colours, all of which are non-toxic.
Glue
The glue is approved for use on skin. It is known as Hot-Melt glue, which is activated by body heat.
Size
The adhesive eye patches are available in two sizes:
Small (0-4 years): 53 x 75 mm (width x length)
Large (4+ years): 56 x 80 mm (width x length)
The sizes should, however, only been seen as a guideline, as children are different, and the size of the area around the eye that needs to be covered can also vary. For example, some find it easier to use a larger eye patch on even small children.
CE-mark
The adhesive eye patches carry the CE-mark, which indicates that the product complies with all legal requirements for CE-marking for resale within the EU.
Usage
Using adhesive eye patches as a course of treatment should be recommended by an orthoptist or an eye doctor. Only use them after having consulted a healthcare professional.
The eye patch is placed in front of the good eye in order to force the brain into using the bad eye, thereby helping to strengthen it.
The product is categorised as medical equipment.
