In some cases, lava lamps are recommended as a way of stimulating vision. A lava lamp from the Steel Line series from Veli Line provides both visual stimulation and a cosy atmos-phere in a child’s room.
NOTE: Lava lamps get hot when being used. Place them on a flat surface with plenty of room for air circulation. Lava lamps are not suitable for use by children under the age of 14 years. Keep children and pets away from lava lamps!
The height of the lamp is 40 cm. The bulb socket is type E14 (small) with 1x30W E14 in-candescent bulb included. A cable with a switch is also included. The lava lamp is made of glass with a metal top and bottom.
The lava lamp is designed to operate optimally at an average room temperature of approxi-mately 20-25 degrees C (58-77 degrees F). It takes two to three hours for the lava lamp to warm up to its maximum effect, when your patience will be rewarded with incredible changing colours and shapes. In order to lengthen the life of the lava lamp, which is approx-imately 2,000 hours dependent upon use, avoid having it on for more than six hours at a time. KEEP CHILDREN AND PETS AWAY FROM THE LAMP.
IMPORTANT INFO:
Place the lava lamp on a flat surface with good air circulation, otherwise there may be a risk of fire if the lava lamp gets too hot and comes into contact with a flammable material. Chil-dren and pets must be kept away from the lava lamp. It is NOT a toy.
Never use a bulb with a different size or wattage, as it can cause the lava lamp to malfunc-tion, which, in the worst-case scenario, could result in a fire.
Make sure that the lamp is not exposed to rapid temperature changes when it is switched on/off. Avoid placing the lamp in direct sunlight, since the sun can cause the colours to fade, as well as adversely affect the lava. Avoid shaking or moving the lamp when it has been turned on and is hot. Otherwise, this can cause the liquid to become murky and, in worst cases, damage the lamp. Be sure to let it cool down completely first. The top end of the lamp is designed to be able to expand. Never remove the top to add more liquid or any-thing else. If the top is removed, the product warranty is voided as the lamp is perceived as being damaged.
