Unbelievable … 50% Vision!

Today it was time for Alma’s biannual check-up at the Kennedy Centre. We were, as always, excited and even though all odds in relation to statistics should have been against us, Alma’s visual development surprised us again.
 
Their assessment was that Alma now has 50% vision in her bad eye. This eye could barely detect the light from a bright torch when she was five months old. Now this is not a final result, since vision development is a fickle matter. But we are so grateful that we have reached where we are now today. It has been worth all the effort with the eye patches, and makes it well worth continuing, even though at times it can be challenging.
