The eye patches from Kay Fun Patch fit all types of glasses, regardless of whether they have a nose pad or not. You can find an illustration of how the eye patches are attached to the glasses on the page: 'Guide for eye patches'.
The eye patches for glasses are 11.8 cm long and 6 cm in height at the widest point.
The reason why the eye patch is long is because it bends around the glasses frame on the side. As result, the eye patch covers both the lens and down the leg of the glasses in order to achieve the best possible blackout effect.
For an overview of the sizes of our various eye patches, view our: ‘Size guide’.
You can see the eye patch, as well as how to attach them to the glasses, on the page: ‘Guide for eye patches’.

The eye patch from Kay Fun Patch is made using Oeko-Tex® certified fabric that is soft, cushioned, and breathable. This makes it skin-friendly and comfortable to wear.
The eye patch is made up of different layers of fabric. The inner layer is black and made of 100% cotton, which means that any moisture is either absorbed or directed away.
It is possible to wash it by hand using a mild detergent in cool water. However, it must be air-dried afterwards in order to maintain its shape.
The eye patches from Kay Fun Patch can be used for either the left or the right eye. This applies to both the single coloured designs, as well as those with a patterned design.
There are a few designs which require you choose which eye the eye patch is going to cover. Otherwise, you may risk the design or pattern being upside down. Information about the designs can be found on the manufacturer’s website on the product pages, and before placing an order in the basket, you will be reminded of this choice.
Firstly, attach the eye patch to the glasses, so it is covering the inside of the lens. Afterwards, put the glasses onto your child and adjust the position of the patch to ensure it fits tightly around the eye socket, not allowing any peeking.
You can find more information about attaching an eye patch to glasses on the page: ‘Guide for eye patches’.
YES! The eye patch is reusable. It can be taken off and put onto a new pair of glasses according to need.
The eye patches from Kay Fun Patch are specially designed to be attached to the inside of the glasses. This is to ensure that the patch is fitted tightly around the eye socket, which is crucial in order to achieve the best final result from the vision therapy treatment. The glasses also provide stability in terms of keeping the patch in the right position.
See our ‘Guide for eye patches’.
Adults can use the eye patches that are designed for children, as long as they wear small glasses. The sizes of the children’s patches are almost identical to the smallest-sized patches for adults. The sizes of all of our patches can be seen on the page: ‘Size guide’.
